Approximately, 10-12 awards of up to $50,000 will be allocated in the 2019-20 competition to accelerate the development of promising technology and promote commercialization and/or knowledge transfer. This year, Connaught applications will be at or above Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 as defined by Science and Economic Development Canada (SEDC) to support evolving the innovation to the next level with potential commercial partners.
